This Privacy Policy explains how SplitCraft – Expense Splitter handles information when you use the application.
1. Information Entered Into the App
SplitCraft allows users to create and manage shared-expense information, which may include:
- Group names and group categories
- Member names entered by the user
- Expense titles, amounts, dates and notes
- Information about who paid an expense
- Expense split amounts, percentages or shares
- Settlement records and payment status
- Reminder dates and notification preferences
- Locally generated reports and statistics
This information is voluntarily entered by the user for organizing and calculating shared expenses.
2. Local Data Storage
SplitCraft stores expense, group, member and settlement information locally on the user's device.
The developer does not automatically receive or store this information on a remote server.
Locally stored data may be removed when the user deletes it, clears the app's storage or uninstalls the application.

SplitCraft does not require users to create an online account or sign in to use its standard offline functionality.
4. Expense Calculations
SplitCraft performs expense-splitting and settlement calculations using information entered by the user.
Users are responsible for reviewing amounts and settlement suggestions before making any real-world payment.
SplitCraft is an organizational tool and does not process, transfer, hold or receive money on behalf of users.
5. Notifications
SplitCraft may request notification permission to display local reminders related to:
- Group expense reviews
- Pending settlements
- User-created reminders
Notification permission is optional and can be enabled or disabled through the device's system settings.
6. Exporting and Sharing Data
SplitCraft may allow users to export or share expense information, summaries or CSV files.
Exporting or sharing is initiated by the user. Once information is shared with another application, cloud provider, email service or recipient, its handling is governed by that third party's privacy practices.
7. Internet Access
SplitCraft's main expense-management functionality is designed to work offline.
An internet connection may be required when a user chooses to share exported content through an external application or when third-party advertising is enabled.

SplitCraft may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic data, depending on device settings, user consent and applicable law.

SplitCraft may use standard Android or Google Play components required for app distribution, notifications, stability and security.
Those services may process limited technical or diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies.

Reasonable measures are used to protect locally stored app information. However, no electronic device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their device and any exported files containing expense information.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored information remains on the user's device until the user:
- Edits or deletes the information inside the app
- Clears the application's storage
- Uninstalls the application
Because SplitCraft does not maintain an online user account database for its offline workspace, there is generally no server-side account data to request for deletion.
12. Children's Privacy
SplitCraft is a general expense-management application and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the application's features, SDKs, data practices or legal requirements change.
